Marketing Cheltenham is a new partnership launched in November 2017 with the aim of encouraging more people to visit, work, study and invest in the Cheltenham. Marketing Cheltenham is led by Cheltenham Borough Council, with support from Cheltenham BID and several other key organisations from the Cheltenham Tourism Partnership.
In 2017, an ambitious five-year strategy to grow the visitor economy was drawn up, which sets out how Cheltenham will attract additional visitors and increase visitor dwell time and spend.
Kelly Ballard, manager of Marketing Cheltenham said: “Encouraging more visitors to Cheltenham will ensure the vibrant cultural scene and fabulous array of food and drink establishments continue to thrive and be enjoyed by the residents of Cheltenham.
“Putting a spotlight back on Cheltenham outside the region for its heritage, food and shopping will also have a positive knock-on effect for encouraging people to work, study and invest here.”
The focus for Marketing Cheltenham to date has been to establish the tools and partnerships that will set the foundations from which to promote the town. The redesigned visitcheltenham.com will become the portal from which to promote all that’s great about being in Cheltenham.
